Lake Erie - Lake, OH Lake Report on 9th Jul, 2026

Today was one for the books! I had the pleasure of heading out with my grandkids, accompanied by my two best first mates. It was a fantastic day, and we managed to fill our limit in record time.

The key to our success was running 40 Tru-Trips paired with worm harnesses. We found the bite to be very consistent throughout the trip. To find the fish, we ran them 70–90 feet back, which proved to be exactly what they were looking for.

It was a joy to see the kids so involved and enjoying the time on the water. We are looking forward to the next outing!
